Nature's Grill & Juice Bar Restaurant Review:

The sandwich dubbed "the local favorite" has avocado, sprouts, tomato and garlic mayo on nine-grain bread, which says a lot about the clientele at this casual stop along downtown Ventura's busy Main Street. Although tempeh tacos, sautéed tofu and veggie lasagna dominate the menu, some fish dishes and even a turkey burger can be found. Smoothies and shakes are best enjoyed at one of the outside tables, which offer a great view of the tourists strolling by. There’s a nice selection of fresh-baked pastries, but you’re better off with one of the smoothies---or a blueberry shake made with vanilla ice cream. (Soy shakes are available too.)
