Neal's Deli Restaurant Review:

This unassuming venue, owned and operated by Matt and Sheila Neal, offers surprisingly sophisticated and creative sandwiches and soups; we also recommend the breakfast biscuits. The deli’s specialty is house-made pastrami and corned beef, which help bring in a land-office business. The lean pastrami is singularly good, served on a no-foolin' rye with mustard, and the apple-cheddar hot dog has become a classic. Healthy, seasonal side dishes using local vegetables may include farmers market carrot salad with cumin and mint, turnips with parsley-mustard sauce, or a deftly seasoned ratatouille. Sheila’s garlicky chicken soup will cure any ailment. Homemade cookies and the brownies round off the meal. Lots of juices and bottled water serve for beverages. For beer, there’s a topnotch craft brewery across the street. Look for the entrance around the corner on S. Greensboro Street.
