Each dish at Oceano Bistro --- from the fennel-dusted seared scallops to the amber-glazed salmon flatbread --- receives the same outside-the-box treatment. Seafood takes top billing, of course, but the grilled beef tenderloin proves the kitchen’s talent for other proteins, too. Sides like potato and arugula cake or sweet corn and asparagus risotto complement the flavors well. Sunday brunch is an opportunity to try tasty options like omelets with bay scallops, rock shrimp and three cheeses or grilled cheese with smoked salmon. The wine list is full of suitable seafood pairings from countries with ample coastlines --- once you navigate the categories of color, grape, country and the catch-all “interesting.” For dessert, the crème brûlée is a favorite.
