Pappadeaux Restaurant Review:
Pappadeaux is extremely popular for its tasty to geaux orders. Dining in, you're going to have to put up with a certain kitschy element, but the food is surprisingly good, with the best catch being anything fried. We especially like the crisp, greaseless fried chicken tenderloins and fried good-sized shrimp that come perched atop a mountain of perfectly cooked fries. New Orleans specialties abound on the menu, like fried frog legs and alligator, red beans and rice with andouille (sausage) and crawfish étouffée. We like to reel-in a bowl of seafood gumbo to start, and can never resist ordering the bread pudding with bourbon sauce for dessert.
