THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED The Patio on Goldfinch Restaurant Review:

There's much to like about The Patio on Goldfinch, a casual-yet-elegant eatery with an outdoor fireplace and living plant walls. Animated diners chatter at communal tables, four-legged friends hang on the patio at their owners' feet and a friendly waitstaff glissades through the dynamic space, delivering modern American cuisine courtesy of chef William Kelly. As the restaurant boasts the only cheese cave in San Diego, it makes sense to start with a cheese and meat board. We recommend savoring St. Angel triple cream, Barber's sharp cheddar and slices of Bermuda Triangle --- goat cheese wrapped in ash and complemented by prosciutto di Parma, chorizo, salami, honeycomb, caramelized onion jam and bourbon berry jam. A Burgundy Chablis by Roland Lavantureux might just be the perfect pairing. For lunch, opt for the ahi poke tacos or the Beef & Bleu Flatbread with steak, Gorgonzola and white truffle oil. Dinner options range from a Kobe burger and a braised pork shank with bacon risotto to house-made fettuccine carbonara and shrimp ’n grits. For dessert, try the raspberry panna cotta with vanilla custard, lavender shortbread cookie crumble, raspberry coulis, fresh berries and mint. General manager Chris Simmons is a tequila master, so distilled agave fans should try a flight of some of the rare tequilas. The venue also bustles during happy hour and weekend brunch.
