Pizza Rock Restaurant Review:

Upon entering Pizza Rock, located just off the casino, guests will find a large cocktail bar; a 20-seat interactive wood-fire bar; more than 40 TVs with Xbox gaming systems; and a full-size 1964 Peterbilt long-haul truck extending from the dining room to the patio filled with retro beer boxes. Tony Gemignani’s pizzas, including Napoletana, New York, Chicago, classic American, classic Italian, Romana, Sicilian, California, Detroit and gluten-free styles, are baked in nine ovens fired at temperatures ranging from 500 to 900 degrees. We recommend the “Pizza Campari” with mozzarella, smoked pancetta, peppered goat cheese, sweet piquant peppers and blood-orange reduction. The "Artichoke Joe" is another hit, made with marinated artichokes, spinach, garlic, crème di Parmigiana and provolone. Other worthy menu items specific to this outpost are fried green tomatoes with pulled mozzarella, peppadews and basil, and the beer-battered fried artichoke served with horseradish aïoli. The venue’s extensive craft beer selection offers 40 taps and 60 bottles, including local breweries Bad Beat, Banger, CraftHaus and Joseph James. Try to save room for the house-made pecan turnover filled with maple-pecan crunch and topped with coffee ice cream.
