Porkchop & Co. Restaurant Review:

Porkchop & Co.’s bright and airy space welcomes guests with large front windows and spare décor. Potted kale plants dot tables, bringing green into the room and alluding to the focus for sourcing ingredients. Fire-engine red chairs also liven things up. Ordering is done at the counter, offering a glimpse into the kitchen. Dishes, such as the house-made kimchi, are brought to the table. Sandwiches (including the eponymous pork chop) are showpieces of the menu; however, it’s the vegetable-based appetizers, such as brilliantly purple beet dip, that steal the show. The chalkboard at the entrance outlines the small wine list, but the best bet is to choose from the bottled cocktails lined up in the refrigerated case next to the cash register.
