Restaurant Suntory Restaurant Review:

A cornerstone of the Royal Hawaiian Center, Suntory appeals to a cosmopolitan clientele. While the signature of the elegant blond-wood restaurant has long been the teppanyaki, you’ll also find offerings at the sushi bar. Savor some ultra-fresh chu-toro or salmon marinated in brandy and dill. As for the teppanyaki, a standout is the pepper steak with whiskey-mushroom sauce, especially when the chef crisps the rendered trimmings and serves them with grilled garlic. Lunch specials such as maguro-zuke donburi (marinated tuna sashimi over rice) and upside-down salmon ikura (roe) donburi make Suntory a midday bargain. A full bar ensures libations for everyone.
