River City Brewing Company Restaurant Review:

There's nothing better that watching the sunset along the St. John's River and over Jacksonville's sparkling city skyline. At River City, you get those views with your brew and meal. The beer is made from a combination of English and German two-rowed malted barley, hops from the Pacific Northwest, purified water and brewer's yeast. The results are fresh and refreshing --- try the hoppy golden Jackson Pale Ale or the malty chestnut Red Rooster Ale. The eclectic fare ranges from Italian pastas to shrimp and grits to filet mignon. Their version of calamari has a Floridian spin with fire-roasted peppers and a Key lime butter sauce. Keep an eye out for the daily specials, which include a catch of the day (blackened mahi mahi, perhaps), soup, vegetable and sandwich. There's often live entertainment to be enjoyed indoors or outdoors on the deck.
