THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED RN74 Restaurant Review:

Named for the highway through Burgundy from Dijon to Beaune, this restaurant and wine lounge from Michael Mina and Rajat Parr delivers California-French fare and globally-sourced wines. Casually-clad sommeliers, of which there are generally three on the floor, reinforce the message. The wine list, crafted from 2,000 unique wines and a 25,000-bottle inventory, offers at least 40 by the glass at levels seldom seen in that format. Meanwhile, the menu has included dishes such as smoked bone marrow nicely representing the mix of textures and flavors found here: the marrow itself, wonderfully unctuous, was topped with oxtail marmalade, elegantly sweet and with a touch of acid, and dusted with crisp leeks. Among seasonal offerings, guests have encountered a grilled asparagus salad, fresh and crisp, complemented and countered by the addition of cured egg yolk and bacon gribiche. Smoked, hand-cut chitarra pasta is a pleasant show, delivered under glass for an unveiling of appearance and aroma. Sonoma lamb loin brings variety with Moroccan spice. Try the warm French crullers or dark-chocolate mille-feuille for dessert, though the dessert wines may tempt you to the liquid side alone. The room has the aesthetic of a European train station from bygone days, right down to the clickety-clack of an arrivals and departures board that cleverly spells out notable wines available.
