Rotisserie St-Hubert, Montréal, canada

Rotisserie St-Hubert Restaurant Review:

The eatery’s iconic logo of a smiling, bow-tied red-crown rooster is an apt symbol for the province’s premier chain of restaurants favored by French Canadian families. The chicken is barbecued into a golden crispiness but the breast tends to dry out very quickly. The coleslaw is refreshing; the fries are super thin and crispy and the famous St-Hubert gravy is sold in supermarkets. There are also beef and pork steaks, sticky sweet ribs, skinless or grilled chicken, satay and fajitas. For a taste of “la belle province” try local specialties such as “le hot chicken sandwich” smothered with gravy and peas and the poutine (a tower of french fries topped with cheese curds and gravy). Satisfy your sweet tooth with syrupy chômeur pudding (poor man’s pudding). Service is fast and friendly.
