The Royal Exchange Restaurant Review:

With its name and the menu’s riffs on items such as "stock options" and "liquid assets," it's easy to tell that The Royal Exchange caters to Financial District professionals looking to unwind after work, preferably in front of a game. (The institution will actually cater events and deliver to offices, but the food tastes better in front of one of 21 TV screens dedicated to sports, rather than a computer.) Despite the British pub look and feel, American burgers are a good choice --- especially when paired with one of roughly 40 different beers. Veggie and turkey burgers are also available, and toppings include both avocado and guacamole. More adventurous diners might try the fish tacos, but we encourage sticking to the basics, including hearty salads, hot sandwiches, wings and ribs. There's a good selection of wines by the glass, too. Around since 1972, the popular corner spot can get very crowded, especially during sporting events. It is closed on weekends.
