THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED The Shed at Glenwood Restaurant Review:

Despite lying at the heart of an upscale in-town neighborhood, this high-energy spot by spouses Todd Martin and Cindy Shera draws patrons from all over the city. Bar seating, high ceilings and generous windows affording views of the street scene set the stage for casual fine dining. If the interior gets too lively, the quieter patio is well shielded from the elements. Local ingredients are featured on the daily changing menu, which regularly offers Springer Mountain chicken. Begin by exploring small plates and sliders, featuring classic Southern dishes, such as deviled eggs and pimento cheese. Most vegetables adhere to Southern standards, so expect fresh okra in season and corn. For brunch, the Benedict perches the poached egg on crab cakes topped with hollandaise sauce. Shrouded in glossy dark chocolate, the “Ding Dong” is the signature dessert, but when offered we go for the lightly oven-warmed bread pudding with house-made ice cream. The well-chosen wine list offers bottles and numerous by-the-glass options that are out of the box, such as the Craggy Range Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand.
