Sirocco Restaurant Review:

About the restaurant: The Luxe Hotel Sunset Boulevard is a true hideaway on one of the most famous boulevards in the world, and its restaurant is likewise cozy and intimate. Appropriately, it is named “Sirocco,” after the hot wind blowing from North Africa across the Mediterranean to southern Europe. The ambience is created by the décor, with chairs and banquettes in sandy tones, white marble table tops, light and no noise (for once!). You almost feel at home in the comfort of your own dining room.

Likes: Perfect for a business lunch or dinner, or a romantic escape.
Dislikes: Honestly, none.

Food & Drinks: Chef Olivier Rousselle is no longer leading the kitchen. Luckily, the must-have Provençal tuna tartare remains on the menu. Wrapped in a grilled zucchini slice, it is soft on the palate as there is no spice but instead seasoned with extra virgin olive oil, parsley and a perfect dosage of capers and lemon. Main dish options might range from steak frites with salsa verde to mushroom risotto to salmon with leek soubise, sautéed kale, cherry tomato and dill sofrito. The desserts are classic, like a panna cotta or chocolate tart. Wines are mainly from France and California; we also suggest the cocktails from the lounge.
