Intimate and romantic describe this family-run restaurant, where grandmother Salgado's Cuban and Spanish recipes are re-created in a kitchen steaming with garlicky good smells. The paella is a surefire choice, or try the pork, chicken with rice, and an unusual rib-eye stuffed with chorizo sausage. Accompaniments are Cuban classics: black beans, crusty bread, fragrant rice, crisply fried plantains. Ask about vegan and vegetarian dishes too, and save room for the flan.
