Tir na nOg Restaurant Review:

At this upscale Irish pub, the view works both ways. Look outside, and you're treated to a classic Baltimore harborscape; gaze into the dining room, and you get a peek back in time. As at other new-school Irish dining spots, an antiques-filled design places the diner into an iconic Auld Sod setting; at Tír na nÓg (named for the Gaelic "land of eternal youth"), that setting is a medieval banqueting hall, complete with Gothic tracery, antlers, a faux pipe organ, and a wealth of stained glass. The cooking, which we might call New Irish-American, is considerably more modern, adding contemporary flourishes and international accents to such usual suspects as shepherd's pie and fish ‘n’ chips. At times, the Irishisms disappear completely, as in the Maryland crab cake. Of course, to maintain the Hibernian mood, you can always wash meals down with a Harp or Guinness brew.
