Oenophiles flock to Vintage Wine Bar & Bistro, and with good reason. Hefty pours, a smart French bistro menu, informed servers and 60 wines by the glass give this handsome restaurant real star power. Many bottles are in the $30 range, another plus, as is the option to sample a trio of three-ounce pours in a mix and match wine flight. As for the cuisine, we recommend the fig and Gorgonzola bruschetta, Brie in puff pastry and the pan-roasted chicken breast over parsnip purée. Or try one of the best burgers in town, topped with Cabot cheddar, even better paired with a nice Barolo. Feeling less carnivorous? Opt for an equally good house-made veggie burger. Décor includes a winsome wine bottle chandelier, exposed brick and moody lighting, adding up to a relaxed yet sophisticated vibe.
