Wolfgang Puck Steak makes its home at the posh MGM Grand Detroit. And steak it is --- from the dry-aged New York strip to the Prime rib-eye and American Wagyu filet mignon. But Puck doesn't stop there. Accompaniments to the meat range from the classic steakhouse sides of creamed spinach, a loaded potato and onion rings, to the more esoteric three-cheese mac ‘n’ cheese, roasted trumpet mushrooms, poached king crab legs, Pacific white shrimp and South African lobster tails. Try one of the sauces, like chimichurri and black peppercorn as well as add-ons of applewood-smoked bacon, roasted garlic cloves, fried egg, caramelized onions and Oscar-style with a topping of king crab, asparagus and béarnaise sauce. Though beef reigns supreme, options like a lobster and crab Louie salad, tuna tartare and rotisserie free-range chicken are available, too.
