Azay Restaurant Review:
Azay in Little Tokyo is a casual restaurant from chef Akira Hirose, whom we admired for his compelling French cooking at since-shuttered Maison Akira in Pasadena. The menu offers both French and Japanese dishes, including croque monsieur (French ham and Gruyère on sourdough with béchamel sauce) and a daily bento with a protein, cha soba, seasonal vegetables, miso soup and rice.
