Azur Restaurant Review:
Azur is the restaurant Michael Mosi and Drew Wenzel, friends and seasoned chefs, dreamed up during long, wine-and-food-infused travels through Italy and the Mediterranean. Dine on the shaded porch or in the cool blue and white dining room. The chefs bring American and European perspectives to the table where dishes range from french toast stuffed with Key lime pie filling to fennel and cardamom house-cured salmon. For lunch, try the crab cake BLT or steamed mussels in tomato broth. Dinner standouts include braised lamb over Moroccan-spiced chickpeas and toasted gnocchi with pine nuts and truffle oil, as well as odes to local seafood such as pan-roasted yellowtail snapper with pink shrimp. Espresso panna cotta with candied lemon takes the place of after dinner coffee. The wine list is as food-friendly and worldly as the restaurant’s owners.
