Baccarat Restaurant Review:
One of several dining options at Sandals Royal Bahamian, Baccarat looks out on the pool and features décor inspired by Art Nouveau. As the restaurant is part of an all-inclusive resort, visitors that are not staying at Sandals must purchase day or evening passes in order to dine on the property. In the morning, Baccarat offers a continental breakfast buffet as well as à la carte options such as eggs Benedict and bagels with smoked salmon. If you’re feeling particularly indulgent, there is also caviar and bubbly available. The evening brings a menu of French fare with “Healthy Cuisine” selections marked by a vertical green bar. Starters might include escargots in puff pastry or a pan-seared crab cake with citrus mousseline, while main dishes range from herb-crusted rack of lamb to duck à l’orange to baked Bahamian lobster tail seasoned with lime, garlic and herbs. Desserts stay on the traditional side with crème brûlée and tarte Tatin.
