Bada Bing Restaurant Review:

Bada Bing’s big seller is the “spiedie.” A spiedie is a favorite sandwich in upstate New York, filled with marinated and cubed meats ladled into a hero roll. Try this, the vendor says, offering a sampling of cubed pork. And so lunch becomes a pork spiedie augmented with lettuce, tomato and a dressing. But wait. There are also several “gourmet” spiedie choices, including The Big Pete with bacon and chipotle mayo and The Don Ho, an Asianized version of an overstuffed sandwich with pickled carrots and crunchy noodles and soy sauce seasoning. Sustainable seasonal sides, drinks and chips round out this meal on the run. Or, sit and eat your spiedie for maximum enjoyment. This truck wends its way into DC on occasion, but mostly hangs out in the Rosslyn or Courthouse areas.
