Balaton Restaurant Review:

Pardon the pun, but you’ll want to arrive at this Hungarian restaurant, well, hungry. The food is hearty and plentiful, if not entirely expected. Wiener schnitzel and a variance of it, the chicken schnitzel, are the restaurant's claim to fame. Both are crunchy-crusted and moist inside. Other offerings include duck roast served with steamed red cabbage and baby red potatoes, and pork chops grilled with garlic and paprika cream, and plated with fried onion rings. Desserts include crêpes, strudels and tortes; the dobos torte is eight layers of rich cake and creamy chocolate, with a cover of hard caramel. To complement your meal, try a wine from the restaurant’s namesake region, Hungary’s Lake Balaton.
