the Bar at Rancho Bernardo Inn Restaurant Review

: Rancho Bernardo Inn called in the talents of Esteban Interiors to re-create its sports bar into a European-style brasserie with banquettes, reclaimed-wood communal tables and neutral tones that evoke a rustic, elegant feel. It's a good spot for a casual bite, and shares the same menu with The Veranda. For lunch, order up a braised short rib quesadilla, California Cobb salad or a barbecue chicken flatbread. For dinner, there's honey and lavender chicken, swordfish au poivre or grilled Berkshire pork chops with creamy polenta. Seasonal cocktails include "Apples to Apples" --- Fireball whiskey with Apple Pucker and pineapple juice, and the "Spiced Gingerbread Man" with Stoli vanilla vodka, Frangelico, caramel and ginger beer. Plasma TVs deliver sporting events, or try your hand at darts or shuffleboard on the vintage table. Guacamole and chips, hot wings and the bar dog served on a pretzel roll are easy nibbles.
