Bedford Village Inn Restaurant Restaurant Review:
The Carnavale family is known for hospitality and since bringing in chef Benjamin Knack to retool the dining program at the Bedford Village Inn, the property is gaining a reputation for its cuisine as well. The Tavern is suitable for casual pub fare, while Corks wine bar boasts an 8,000-bottle, 750-label wine list and offers a small-plates menu. Meanwhile, The Dining Room features more refined dishes like Hudson Valley duck confit tart with apricot cranberry chutney, and Maine lobster gnocchi with Chinese long beans and curry. Pan-roasted salmon is served with vegetables sourced from nearby farms. Desserts are a highlight --- try “Bête Noire” with caramelized bananas, Nutella powder, espresso ice cream and Frangelico gel, or the Boston cream pie with white chocolate powder and a pastry cream accented with Oreo crumbs.
