Bella Luna Restaurant Review:
Bella Luna is a mid-level Italian trattoria with a vaguely Las Vegas décor that has fast enough service that even speed shoppers in Aventura Mall might well decide to opt for a civilized sit-down lunch or dinner. The menu will be familiar to patrons of any of local restaurateur Tom Billante’s Italian-style establishments (including Carpaccio in the Bal Harbour Shops and Villagio in the Village of Merrick Park). But when a formula for commercial success features artisan niceties like house-made pastas such as signature agnolotti Bella Luna (al dente rounds filled with spinach and ricotta, in non-traditional but tasty pink cream sauce), focaccia and thin-crusted pizzas from wood-burning ovens, and creamy tiramisu, who’s complaining?
