Belly Bombz Kitchen Restaurant Review:

This brick-and-mortar incarnation of the Long Beach-based food truck does a good job of retaining the vibe of a proper mobile kitchen. It’s located in a small Artesia strip mall. The lone dining space is narrow and minimally festooned, and there is a prominent chalkboard along the west wall that trumpets the day’s specials, which include several selections of craft beer. The food truck roots are certainly not forsaken on the menu, as approachable fare like sweet and spicy Korean fried chicken wings and half-beef, half-bacon sliders rule the day. Starters and share plates are the dominant items, although more substantial offerings like the pork katsu mushroom curry rice bowl or the bulgogi burger with Korean chili-pickled cucumber demonstrate the kitchen’s Korean influences. The limited dessert options are highlighted by the seasonally changing crème brûlée.
