THIS RESTAURANT HAS CHANGED LOCATIONS Besaw's Restaurant Review:
Besaw's menu features classic American dishes prepared with locally-sourced ingredients, some of which are grown in the restaurant's own raised beds. Condiments such as ketchup and marmalade are homemade. Generous breakfasts --- Belgian waffles, a three-egg wild salmon scramble or a breakfast burger --- will keep anyone well-fueled for a day in the great outdoors. Meatloaf, mac ‘n’ cheese, and chicken and waffles are as good as any Mom used to make and maybe better. Those with lighter tastes may prefer the Cobb salad or the hummus plate. Besaw’s also accommodates those seeking gluten-free options and other special dietary requests. Children will like the “Mickey Cake,” a pancake made in the shape of a certain famous mouse, or a Hebrew National hot dog baked into a waffle. For more adult tastes, there’s a full cocktail menu that includes a first-rate Bloody Mary available any time of day, plus a small beer and wine list. Desserts, such as the homemade cakes and tortes, alone are worth a stop. Kids of all ages will enjoy the chocolate chip skillet cookie topped with salted caramel ice cream. The covered, heated patio provides outdoor dining in all but the nastiest weather.
