Jeremy Fox (Ubuntu, Rustic Canyon) has opened this expansive restaurant at Bergamot Station in Santa Monica. A casually modern dining room is airy and light, and there’s a sprawling patio and long bar that serves stylish craft cocktails. Look for classic regional American fare crossed with Fox’s family recipes and California seasonal ingredients, including rib-eye steak, wood-grilled chicken, king salmon crudo and sweetbreads Texas toast. Specialties include Passmore Ranch steelhead roe caviar with potato waffles, and Fox’s “Hangtown Brei” of scrambled eggs with matzo, pork belly, fried Pacific oysters, and hot sauce hollandaise.
