THIS RESTAURANT HAS CHANGED NAMES Bistro Citron Restaurant Review:

Eateries may try their luck at vintage-looking Parisian décor, but most cannot follow through with “la cuisine.” Bistro Citron takes its origins seriously and behind antiqued mirrors, French posters and cane chairs hides a chef who knows his bouillabaisse from his moules frites. Start with the salade Citron, a heap of microgreens with tangy Roquefort, velvety beets and soft haricots verts, or a tart topped with bubbly caramelized onion, goat cheese, tomatoes and olives. Steak frites redolent of the Left Bank is hard to resist; however, the trout amandine with brown butter almond adds a touch of sophistication. And if burgers are what fuels you, this Franco-American version is one of the best on the Upper West Side. Got a sweet tooth? Go for the soufflé aux citron with lemon custard and berries.
