We keep this pleasant, contemporary place in mind when heading to a film at the adjacent multiplex. Bistro Yang’s menu stands out most for its innovative page of East-meets-West creations, such as the grilled shrimp-and-scallop salad in Champagne vinaigrette, or the Asian quesadilla: duck mixed with Gruyère and cilantro, wrapped in a Chinese pancake, and topped with salsa and hoisin sauce. Call us purists, but we prefer the classic Chinese dishes, especially the potstickers, the garlicky chi-yao chicken and the double pan-fried Mandarin-style noodles.
