BLT Steak Restaurant Review

: Located just off of Bally’s casino, this 7,000-square-foot restaurant takes up more than twice the area of its former occupant. Though separated into small, intimate dining rooms, the spaces can be merged together to fit 240 guests. The room is splashed with rich woods and neutral tones and accented with polished stainless steel, amber and tangerine. Your meal begins with signature renowned popovers --- airy and warm Gruyère-laced puffs of dough that compel you to overindulge. If you can control yourself, we recommend trying the grilled double-cut smoked bacon seasoned with garlic and sherry as a starter. You might follow it up with a steak, which are 100 percent naturally raised certified Black Angus. New York, rib-eye, porterhouse, Kobe-Wagyu and filet mignon are among cut options. Other main courses include Dover sole, grilled branzino or lemon-rosemary chicken, while stuffed mushroom caps and truffle mashed potatoes are noteworthy sides. Complementing the menu are more than 300 wines, some of them Old World selections from the regions of Burgundy, Bordeaux, Piedmont, Tuscany and Rioja. Save room for the peanut butter chocolate mousse that is accompanied by banana ice cream or the Meyer lemon cheesecake with huckleberry sorbet.
