THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Blu Greek Taverna Restaurant Review:

The blue-and-white colors of Greece frame a traditional setting for the Greek-inspired cuisine. Thick hand-cut calamari rings are lightly dusted then fried and served with a piquant tomato sauce. Spanakopita, made with fresh spinach and phyllo, would suffice for a small main dish with a salad or for four people to share as an appetizer. Traditional sausage (loukaniko) is one of our favorite dishes here. For a main course, we suggest the pork souvlaki, two large skewers of marinated pork cubes with thick slices of zucchini, eggplant and red peppers; the pork is cooked just to the pink stage, leaving it tender and flavorful. Also good is the red snapper, with lemon, butter and thyme. Fresh baby carrots, cauliflower and broccoli as well as potatoes and rice accompany each dish. Take the opportunity to taste some decent Greek wines. For dessert, get the baklava, made in house, and one of the best we've ever tried. Greek coffee is the proper meal-ender.
