Blu Kouzina Restaurant Review:

White-washed wood with plenty of blue paint creates a summery Mediterranean ambience at this three-story eatery along Singapore's leafy Bukit Timah Road. But it’s the Greek owners who truly make guests feel welcome, and as if they have escaped at least with their palates to the Greek isles. When you book ahead, often the only way to secure a table at this popular neighborhood spot, ask to sit outside. We like the indoor dining too, but sitting al fresco adds to the European feel, and tables are sufficiently set back from traffic. Trust the waiters who know the menu well to recommend complementary flavors, like the melitzanosalata, which is smoked eggplant with herbs; grilled feta; and the tzatziki yogurt with cucumber, garlic and the restaurant's olive oil. Among the mains, regulars order the plate of three lamb chops as well as the jumbo prawns and whole sea bass, all grilled with that same olive oil plus lemon. If you don't add a side of roasted potatoes in olive oil, lemon and oregano, you'll end up envying all the tables around you who did so.
