THIS RESTAURANT HAS CHANGED LOCATIONS Blue Ocean Sushi Restaurant Review:

This restaurant was formerly on the cutting edge of The Loop, geographically and otherwise, but as the neighborhood’s revitalization has moved eastward, its mood has mellowed. Blue Ocean was the first place in town to offer all-you-can-eat sushi, starting at a flat $15 for lunch or $20 for dinner. It’s also possible to order sushi by the roll or in fixed-price combinations, or to try the Japanese-style entrées (fried rice, teriyaki) and a Western dish or two (deep-fried Twinkies). If you can’t find the perfect roll on the extensive menu, the sushi chef is open to consultation. Afterward, retire to the lounge next door to try the saké cocktails, investigate the hookahs, and chill to the beat of live DJs.
