Bay Area chef-restaurateur Faz Poursohi offers up a surprising menu at this restaurant. We say surprising not because there are any culinary curveballs, but rather because Faz has set aside his Mediterranean roots in favor of straightforward, traditional American cooking. The menu includes juicy steaks, fresh seafood and barbecued ribs. Mothers everywhere would probably approve of the Hello Dolly Meatloaf accompanied, of course, by a healthy serving of mashed potatoes. Two elements that Bollinger has in common with all the other Faz ventures: a dramatic view, in this case of the entire San Ramon valley area; and a fun little Happy Hour freebie spread that includes house-made potato chips and pizza.
