Look up: see the playing cards stuck on the ceiling. Look around: see the table-drawing contest art displayed on the walls. This eclectic jazz joint has many curious features that can serve as conversation fodder, including a roving magician. The food, though, is not much to talk about. The French onion soup is legendary, but many of the other dishes, though edible, are forgettable. This swinging joint's best feature is the lively ambience, especially in the wee hours.
