THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Breezes Restaurant Review:

THIS ESTABLISHMENT HAS CLOSED Breezes is aptly named, taking advantage as it does of the lovely al fresco views onto Lake Lanier. The restaurant is ideal for fine casual dining, even when you have the little people in tow. Start at breakfast with some of the house-made muësli, arranged parfaitlike with yogurt and seasonal fruit. Or throw caution to the wind and savor fine sausage cream gravy with good biscuits along with fried eggs and grits. That will keep you on the golf course all day with no need to stop for lunch. Specialties include the very good apple cider onion soup, topped with a tangle of crisp Vidalia onions; grilled gulf red snapper with lemon and capers; and a wide assortment of Black Angus steaks. Hope the giant diver scallops with blood orange beurre blanc are available; it’s a stellar dish. The wine list deals mostly in American selections, but offers a good selection of Champagnes as well as sparkling wines. Recently opened on the property is a golf course club steakhouse called Fairways, specializing in Black Angus steaks and grilled fish.
