Broder Restaurant Review

: Brunch is a highlight at this Nordic-inspired eatery. Breakfast is served all day, and lunch includes Danish open-face sandwiches, a burger and plenty of seafood, including oysters and house-cured gravlax. Aebleskivers, a Danish treat of small cake-like balls served with lemon curd and lingonberry jam, are popular. The Breakfast Bord offers a sampling of rye crisp, lingonberries, gravlax, salami, yogurt, hard cheese, a grapefruit half and a sweet. Don't miss the lefse, a thin potato bread from Norway wrapped around sliced roast beef, smoked Gouda and caramelized onions. The limited size of the restaurant and the popularity of breakfast often results in a long wait. The Broder Nord branch also serves dinner at 2240 North Interstate Ave., Ste. 160, 503-282-5555.
