Brother's Korean Restaurant Restaurant Review: It may not be fancy, but the pageantry of Korean barbecue is alive and well at Brother's. Devotees cram into the small waiting area of the smoky, chatter-filled, no-frills room anxiously anticipating their turn at the barbecue tables. Simple, friendly service begins with the placement of white-hot coals and a parade of condiment plates: spicy kimchi, succulent sprouts dashed with vinegar, and crisp lettuce leaves for wrapping the spicy pork or tender beef. If you are not a fan of the simple pleasures of barbecue or crave more from a Korean night out, try a plate of jap chae, refreshing bi bim bop or zesty ribs. Note: while the vents do their best to suck up the smoke, diners do risk leaving smelling like a piece of meat. |
