The latest in a twenty-seven restaurant chain based in Minneapolis, Buca has opened in the northern suburbs of Philadelphia. Families are flocking in to share immigrant Southern Italian cooking served in parlor-type dining rooms, filled with Italian peasant kitsch. Huge platters of antipasti are served family style, and if you haven’t had chicken cacciatore or a big bowl of spaghetti and meatballs in a while, this is the place to visit.
