This bakery-café really rocks, standing out as a gathering place for young moms, coffee drinkers, and even a few who work on their laptops. A talented team of pastry chefs have upped the calorie counts: try the fat chocolate chip cookie or a buttery scone. But perhaps the trick is to sit and enjoy the polished atmosphere and the beverages along with assorted baked goods. As it turns out, you can make a meal with a muffuletta or a spicy grilled cheese. And, yes, a brownie or two. Also located at The Yards and in Arlington.
