THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Cafe Brazil Restaurant Review:
Known for its totally laid-back atmosphere, unpretentiously good food and low prices, Café Brazil has thrived. Were especially nutty about their big, over-stuffed omelets, each served with crispy grilled rosemary-accented potatoes, and good, dense, homemade bread. Were not as thrilled about the too-casual service, but the food is worth it, and the prices are too good. As good as the omelets are, were satisfied with the French toast (but serve real maple syrup, please!), and we like the serve-yourself coffee options. Theres a nice selection of homemade crêpes, and a favorite is the chicken-spinach-mushroom-cheese one in a cream sauce; and the super quesadilla (blackened chicken tenders, bacon, spinach, chives, mushrooms, cilantro and cheese) is really super. Definitely go with dessert, like the simple, yet tasty, bread pudding with crème anglaise and raspberry sauce, or the strawberry Grand Marnier cake.
