A tiny jewel of a restaurant in downtown Santa Rosa, Café Lolo melds the laid-back spirit of the wine country with exciting food. The pleasure here is dining on chef-owner Michael Quigley’s finely crafted, boldly flavorful creations, such as a terrine of Sonoma foie gras with candied oranges and sourdough toast or a goat cheese, sun-dried tomato and pesto pâté with grilled polenta bread. Entrées such as the grilled lamb T-bone and the oven-roasted breast of chicken with Parmesan corn spoonbread, roasted root vegetables and garlic cream are both winners.
