THIS RESTAURANT HAS CHANGED NAMES Cafe on M Restaurant Review:
Blink your eyes twice and you may think you’ve landed at an intimate New York nightclub, with a chummy bar, Art Deco light fixtures and subdued music. All that’s missing is a live piano and the fox trot. Sounds dated, but, in fact, the menu is anything but stodgy. The Chesapeake crab soup (light, without cream) is a mildly peppery broth loaded with shreds of crab meat. The rack of lamb, generously portioned and wisely seasoned, is impressive: it’s got a crisp exterior, rare interior and is bathed in a mustardy-garlicky sauce. We also like the treatment of the pan-seared sea bass nestled in scoops of a delicate bouillabaisse sauce. Worthy desserts include chocolate mousse and lemon tart. This is one terrific hotel "coffee shop."
