Camille’s Restaurant Review:
Since the 1980s, Camille’s has been a kitschy Key West neighborhood restaurant with tropical colored walls. Breakfast, served until 3 p.m. to accommodate the local lifestyle and workday, is satisfying with french toast pooled in Godiva white chocolate sauce; corn and cashew waffles with mango and coconut milk sauce; a lobster and Brie omelet and stone crab eggs Benedict. Lunch and dinner follow suit: stone crab claw cakes with spiced rum sauce; macadamia-crusted yellowtail snapper topped with caramelized onions in ginger-coconut milk and Key lime Chardonnay sauce. Everyone from bikers to drag queens to electricians eats here. (Of course, in Key West, that could all be the same person.)
