 Campagnola Restaurant Review: This street-level trattoria is among the area’s better Italian restaurants, thanks to its rustic-romantic feel and solid, country-style cuisine. We like the brick chicken, skirt steak with escarole and onion marmalade, and the selection of handmade pastas like pappardelle Bolognese. To start, try the diver scallops with creamed leeks and herb gremolata or the carpaccio with arugula and horseradish cream. For dessert, we suggest the silky-rich vanilla panna cotta. It’s feel-good dining in the truest form because organic and antibiotic- and hormone-free local ingredients are used whenever possible. |
