Capogiro, the artisan gelateria that had its start on 13th Street, also has a bustling location in the heart of University City. Besides offering seasonal flavors, such as strawberry, and offbeat tastes like avocado and dulce de leche, this branch ups the ante by serving grown-up gelato cocktails and other alcoholic beverages. Panini and salads, coffee, pastry and bagels round out the menu. Outdoor seating is available, too.
