THIS RESTAURANT HAS CHANGED NAMES Carnitas' Snack Shack Restaurant Review:
Locals happily line up to enjoy a cold craft beer and tasty eats at this pork-centric shack with outdoor-only seating. The menu rotates and favors local farms and purveyors like Suzie’s Farm and Sadie Rose Baking Company. Dishes include a pork belly appetizer of braised Duroc pork in a spicy-sweet glaze; carnitas tacos; and a tasty BLT on brioche with bacon, crispy ham, lettuce, tomato and aïoli. Vegetarians dig into the beet terrine, while those looking for non-pig-oriented meats sample the “Snack Shack” burger with Niman Ranch beef and bacon jam. The "Triple Threat" pork sandwich marries pork loin schnitzel with pulled pork and bacon. And, of course, the fries come with bacon ketchup.
