Carrabba's Italian Grill Restaurant Review:

This national restaurant chain is trying something new: installing a slightly smaller version of its template establishment into Tampa International Airport, a venue that is traditionally challenged for quality food. Carrabba's promises almost the same menu as can be found at any of the other 200-plus branches, with a few exceptions for dishes that take longer to prepare. With an expanded kitchen, soups, salads and sauces are made from scratch on the premises. Cioppino is a Mediterranean-style seafood stew with white fish, shrimp, scallops, clams and mussels, served with baked ciabatta. There's a five-minute deadline for appetizers. Servers quiz diners as to whether they have a plane to catch. If so, they're directed to quick menu choices. Entrées range from filet Florentina to chicken Marsala as well as pizzas and sandwiches.
